Reflection and Takeaway

At the event, I learned that anything dealing with kids must be interactive and interesting. Children between the ages of 2-8 years old are very active and curious. If in the future I encounter an event that may potentially deal with children, it is important to know how to keep children entertained and make the event enjoyable and meaningful for them as well. At the event, I also witnessed several dissatisfied customers when purchasing tickets for activities. Volunteers working at the cashier table did not know how to really deal with them. Proper training and clear instructions are a must in every planning of an event. Those running the event need to make sure volunteers understand what they are fully doing and are stern even when customers complain. If in the case of any discrepancies, it is important for volunteers/workers to know how to contact the supervisor so that the situation may be handled delicately and with the utmost respect.
