Reflection and Takeaway
This event was a huge success in that participants really enjoyed the content of the program. In the evaluation, a majority of participants said they really enjoyed the event and learned a lot from it. The only downside was marketing was a bit lackluster and the location of the event was a bit inconvenient considering that this was an on-campus event.

Though marketing was another officer's task, I should have communicated with the marketing coordinator a bit more on what I wanted in order to spread more word out. Since this is a group effort, I realized that expecting someone to fully perform their tasks can be a bit much and there can be a conflict of interest. By communicating effectively with other members of the team, I can at least get everyone's goals and intentions more aligned so that we can effectively execute events.

Though our event was hosted at the Vice-President's backyard (a few walks away from the MSC and Rudder), people thought the location was inconvenient and hard to find. We had provided maps of the location and assigned an APC officer near the 12th Man statue to lead people to the venue at a certain time. I think for next year's event, we might have to reconsider the location of the event to make it even more convenient for participants. There is really nothing else we can do about the location except to make directions and reference points more easier to understand.
