Reflection and Takeaway
APC hosts milk tea socials every year. It was previously known as "Boba social," but due to previous feedback, we decided to change the name of it for this event and onwards because it a bit misleading. We did not have the actual boba/milk tea pearls at our events because they were a "choking hazard" according to University Event Center.

Overall the event was very successful compared to the first boba social in the fall semester. We were able to get a bigger room and extended the time to allow people to mingle and get to know each other at the event. A lot of people came out to our event to enjoy the milk tea and learned a lot about what APC does and what other APIDA organizations do on campus.

One thing to note about this event was that there were a few things I did not organize or plan as well as other aspects of the event, such as the distribution of the milk tea. We should have had officers stand behind the table to distribute milk tea instead of in the front. It made the event look very crowded and the flow of the event was disturbed. I only noticed this when our officers were passing out drinks to several people waiting behind them. In future events I plan, I will make sure to be more detailed and to think of even the most minute detail.
